I make this salad dressing and use it over a few weeks*. I keep it in a jar and store in a cool dark place. *This recipe contains fresh garlic, so botulism is a risk – google it and decide if you want to live dangerously.
For one salad, make 1/3 or 1/4 or quarter of the mix.
Ingredients
- 3 garlic cloves, minced (more if you like garlic!)
- 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 3/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
- 6 Tbsp of fresh lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 1/2 tsp of salt
- pepper to taste.
Method
- Put all the dressing ingredients in a pot. Heat the mixture on low until the honey melts and the ingredients easily combine. Beat with a whisk.
- Decant into a jar.
- Shake the jar to combine ingredients before using.
